Base bread is guaranteed to have a shelf life of 21 days or more after delivery. It is made without synthetic preservatives and is designed to be stored at room temperature for an extended period by controlling moisture and oxygen.
Please note that the mentioned shelf life refers to the unopened product. Once opened, the shelf life may vary depending on the environment, but we recommend consuming it on the same day.
BASE BREAD is manufactured and packaged in Japan and transported to Singapore by air freight. The shipping companies we often entrust with international shipments are ECMS (ecmsglobal.com).

About BASE BREAD
If water droplets occur inside the packaging of BASE BREAD, it is still safe to consume as it does not affect the quality.
Bread typically contains about 35-40% moisture. Therefore, the moisture in the bread can be released as water vapor and form droplets due to temperature changes in the surrounding environment.
The water droplets that occur are originally present in the bread and are a natural phenomenon, so they do not affect the texture or quality.
Furthermore, through long-term storage tests, we have confirmed that BASE BREAD is safe from a microbial standpoint and poses no hygiene issues.
Regarding the oxygen absorber inside the packaging, we have confirmed with the manufacturer that the presence of water droplets generated from the bread does not affect its performance.
The main ingredient in BASE BREAD is whole wheat flour. Compared to refined flour, whole wheat flour is rich in minerals, vitamins and other nutrients.
Nutrients lacking in whole-wheat flour are supplemented by the addition of chia seeds and kelp, among others.
We want you to feel safe eating it every day, so we don't use any additional additives such as synthetic preservatives or synthetic coloring agents.

BASE BREAD is food that is safe and healthy to consume. Therefore, we do not add unnecessary additives such as synthetic preservatives or artificial coloring. While we do include some vitamins to enhance the nutritional value, they are commonly found in supplements and are safe for consumption.
Please avoid direct sunlight and humidity and store in a cool place. If the room temperature is high and humidity is high, we recommend storing in the refrigerator on hot days.
BASE BREAD recommends freezing rather than refrigerating, as refrigeration may affect the flavor.
When defrosting BASE BREAD, please take out the deoxidizer from the bag and heat it up in microwave oven for about 500W /1 minute. (take this out because it's not directly related to the question)
This product has been tested by professional organization for long term high temperature storage and confirmed to be hygienic and safe.
Here is a basic method for enjoying BASE BREAD:
BASE BREAD can be enjoyed as is, but for an even more delicious experience, you can warm it up in the microwave or toaster.
Microwave (500W): Heat for approximately 20 seconds.
Toaster (1000W): Heat for approximately 1 minute.

Our company uses ingredients that have been confirmed to be safe and provided by major food manufacturers in Japan. Food products sold in Japan are subject to standards set by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare regarding microbial strains, microbial counts, permissible pesticides, and residual pesticide levels. Our ingredient suppliers comply with these standards and provide products that meet the requirements. BASE FOOD is rich in dietary fiber, is filling, and contains a balanced amount of proteins and vitamins, etc., making it suitable for dietary control during weight loss. In addition, the carbohydrate content of BASE BREAD has been reduced by 35%*1. A balanced diet is important for a healthy and strong body. Inadequate intake of nutrients can lead to muscle loss and a decline in basal metabolism, and BASE FOOD products provide a balanced intake of essential nutrients while reducing the intake of carbohydrates, making them ideal for use as a staple food during weight loss. However, too little food may cause constipation. BASE BREAD contains a small amount of ethanol, approximately 1-2% concentration. The majority of this ethanol is derived from the food quality maintenance agent used in the packaging, and it evaporates over time. Similar amounts of ethanol are commonly found in confectionery products that utilize ethanol evaporating agents, and there is no harm to pregnant women or infants. Please rest assured.
When you open BASE BREAD, you may momentarily perceive an alcohol-like sensation due to the release of gas. The gas escapes outside the package upon opening, and the alcohol within the food also dissipates over time. If you have concerns, you can further facilitate the evaporation of alcohol by toasting BASE BREAD in a 1000W toaster for approximately 3 minutes.
BASE FOOD is not gluten-free.
BASE FOOD products are developed under the guidance of nutritionists and experts in the field of nutrition. Gluten allergies are very rare among the Japanese population, and the benefits of a gluten-free diet are not widely recognized for individuals without gluten allergies. If you do not experience any discomfort after consuming bread or noodles, you can enjoy BASE FOOD products without worries.
BASE BREAD contains eggs and milk, so it is not considered a completely plant-based product.

For BASEFOOD subscription orders, you can cancel future orders through your account's My Page.
On your My Page, you can unsubscribe from the subscription by setting the quantity of all products to "0" and saving the changes. You can cancel the subscription at any time, but orders that have already been processed and paid for cannot be canceled. Once unsubscribed, no further orders will be created.
Please note that we are unable to accommodate returns or exchanges in the following cases:
・Requests for changes to received products
・Missed changes or forgetting to cancel delivery dates for subscription orders
・Forgetting to modify the content of a subscription order
・Incorrect address or prolonged absence
For a single purchase or the first order of a subscription plan, payment will be processed immediately after the order is placed. For subsequent deliveries of a subscription plan, the payment will be processed upon order confirmation.
The order confirmation date is 4 weeks after the initial payment.
Example: If you place an order on December 1st, the payment will be processed on December 29th.
Regarding returns, exchanges, and cancellations:
We accept returns or exchanges in the following cases:
・If there is an abnormality with the product.
・If the product is damaged during delivery due to an accident or mishandling.
・If you receive a different product than what was ordered.
・If any of the above situations apply, please contact us by email within 3 days of ・receiving the product.
If there is an abnormality or product damage, please indicate it in the subject line of the email.

・Photo of the entire back of the package (showing the expiration date, manufacturing code, and product name)

・In order to investigate potential health risks to our customers, we may request the return of the affected product. We kindly ask you to keep the relevant product stored and, if deemed necessary by our company, we appreciate your cooperation in returning it at our expense.
If you receive a different product or quantity than what was indicated in your order, please include the following information in the subject line of your email: the issue (e.g., product shortage).
In the body of the email, please provide the following details:

・Name of the delivered product/Name of the product you ordered
・Quantity delivered/Quantity ordered

*Please note that if you return a product to us without contacting us first, we may not be able to receive it or provide a refund. Therefore, we kindly request that you always contact us regarding such matters.

As stated in the terms of service, the following situations are not eligible for refunds and may incur charges:
・if you, as the customer, voluntarily halt the shipping process, refuse to accept the delivery, or if the package is returned due to your absence, we cannot issue a refund or cover any costs incurred. Returned products will be disposed of due to their nature, so we kindly ask you to ensure that you accept the delivery.
・Even if your registration on the My Page is not complete, if you choose the 20% off introductory trial offer for the first purchase, it will be considered a subscription to the ongoing course, and your orders will be created every four weeks. Please check the details on your My Page.
Regarding the cancellation procedure:
You can cancel the BASEFOOD subscription plan through your account page. By setting the quantity of all items to "0" and saving the changes, you can cancel the subscription plan. Cancellation can be done at any time, but once payment is processed for an order, it cannot be canceled. If you cancel the subscription, no further orders will be created from the next cycle onwards.
A receipt will be issued by the credit card company used for payment. Your receipt will be your invoice.
About Nutrition

If your order doesn't arrive, BASE FOOD will deliver it from Japan to Singapore via air transportation after you place your order. Due to customs clearance and other factors, it may take approximately 5 days to 2 weeks for the delivery. If it has been more than 14 days and you still haven't received your order, there could be possibilities such as it being returned to the sender due to your absence, incorrect address, or exceeding the holding period for delivery. Please check the delivery status by referring to the tracking number in the "BASE FOOD | Shipment Notification" email and contact contact_sg@basefood.co.jp for further assistance.

At BASE FOOD, when placing an order, you have the option to choose between "One-time Delivery" and "Subscription Plan."
If the product you received is part of a subscription plan (initial order with 20% off and subsequent orders with 10% off), a new order is automatically created every four weeks from the date of your initial order.
※ The start set with the initial 20% off is also considered part of the subscription plan.
Various changes or cancellations can be made through your My Page account. Please log in to access these options.
If you don't remember the password you set during your initial order, please request a password reset email.
2. Changes made to your subscription plan may not have been reflected:
Changes to the content of your subscription plan can be made until the day before four weeks from the order date.
